Think of your mind as a pasture, a green field. There is a herd of sheep. They're your thoughts.
Sometimes your thought sheep can look like this. Terrifying things that wont go away. Sometimes they have mouths to doubt you or extra eyes to stare.
They are hard to weed out of the herd since they can make every thought sheep look like them. They can be cruel. But you can spot them if you listen for them or feel their eyes. You can find them and make them leave your pasture. They look scary but they are nothing. They aren't real. They will try to tell you that they're real and that they'll never leave, but that just isn't true.
These sheep know that times are hard and they are trying to get into your pasture. If they get in it's okay, I promise. Remember, they are weak. But they are smart, creeping in through cracks of doubt and worry and fear.
Remember, my friends, we all have thought sheep. A whole herd of positive thoughts and memories. It feels like there's only these bad sheep sometimes, and that's okay. They make all the other sheep look scary like them. Just remember that these sheep are trying to make you anxious and depressed and think that they're all you have in your pasture. But you have hundreds, maybe thousands of positive mind sheep!
Stay strong and stay safe.
I'm very tired and I tried to come up with an analogy for anxiety and depression in a simple way. Even as someone with both of these things it's so hard to describr aserdtfvyg damn thought sheep lol
