if I had to choose a favorite animal it would probably be dogs, and my favorite dog breed is the german shepherd but I love all animals and all dog breeds.
as for pets I dont have any right now but growing up I've lived wit two guinea pigs, one cockateil and two dogs. not all at the same time of course, I dont even remember the gunea pigs but their names where Ängel & My, Ängel means angel and My is a pretty common name in sweden ^^ the cockateil is still alive but he lives with my aunt now and is very old, his name is Nicko and he is a grumpy old birb. the first dog we had since before I was around and until I was four so I dont remember her too well but her name was Elsa and she was a rottweiler/german shepherd mix, she was an absolute unit but her kidney messed up and we had to put her down. in 2004 we got a new dog, his name was Trulle, he was already named when we got him, and he was a german shepherd. trulle loved everyone and everyone loved him, even the kids in our neighbourhood who where previously afraid of dogs eventually became friends with him and I miss him all the time, we had to put him down around halloween of 2015 but he was a real champ and I'll never forget him.
aside from the pets I've had I've also been a dogsitter for relatives and right now Im catsitting for a friend so there are usually animals around anyways but I hope to get a dog in the future if I can ^^
