Sure hope this isn't too cheesy, but anyhow, i just thought i would put this together because i feel that there may be some out there who could use such a message.
I will occasionally see folks on here, or on discord or wherever sometimes bad mouth their own artwork. I implore you to please refrain from being so harsh on yourself. Even if said in a joking manner, it may still get stored in the back of your subconscious and if you aren't careful you may begin to accept it as fact.
Never describe your work as being "ugly", "trash" or something similar. I assure you that every blessed pixel, paint drop or pencil sketch is a thing of beauty as long as there is no ill intent behind it! <3
Try not to worry yourself over the timer and drawing sessions here on CS, or about the rate you feel that you are improving, even Picasso didn't become an epic artist overnight. Being "fast" isn't always everything.
Always try to find at least one positive thing to say about the art you are working on, even if it is just little things like "i really like how those eyes turned out in this" or other such simple things. Each little nugget of positivity will add up and help you to feel better about your art overall. ^^
Most importantly, try your best to keep at it! Even if you aren't where you would like to be with your art right now, trust me, you will be, and will probably even exceed those expectations as long as you never give up on it. <3
