- I just felt like doodling my cats really quick because it's late and i'm tired, so here's josette (josie) and bentley!
josie's 5 and is the most beautiful cat I've ever seen. I really think she could win a cat beauty contest but she has social anxiety and is so scared of people. we found her in our backyard when she was 6 weeks!! took her to the vet and she was healthy but just hungry and dehydrated and dirty. so we took her home and gave her a bath and wrapped her in a towel and then the rest is history really!! we assume she had no human contact in the first six weeks because those are the crucial 'human interaction' weeks and she's so scared of people?? but she loves to cuddle and she's a total lap kitty and she's never once hissed or scratched or bit us she's such a sweetheart I love her
my stepdad: we're not getting another cat one is enough
josie, in our backyard, a week later: well hello it is I, a helpless stray kitten in need of a family
my stepdad:
bentley is 10 and our neighbours son rescued him from a barn because the owners were gonna shoot the kittens if no one took them so he saved Bentley! kept him in his room for a couple weeks in secret because his dad was allergic. parents found out and then held a friend barbeque, which at the end of brought the kitten out and said he needed a home. of course I was like 'mom,,, mom please' but she was like nO but then after the barbeque called the neighbours and was like "has anyone taken him yet" and no one had so. of course she couldn't leave him at that point lmao. she told me we forgot a container so we had to go pick it up and then we actually picked up a cat!! so that was fun
when he was little he used to sleep on my pillow right beside my head and then would fart in my face. good times
my mom: has anyone taken the kitten yet
the neighbours: no
my mom: *long sigh*
they're both black and now we also have a black dog. wild
