what animal or animal hybrid should they be? because i cant decide for the life of me

I say hyenas would be pretty cool too. Maybe a King cheetah/hyena so they would have characteristics of both the long back mane and the marbled/streaked fur ❤️ I'm a sucker for exotic and African animals (coyote's, dingo's, maned wolves, african wild dogs, coywolfs) and of course hybrids make your character even more exotic and individualized.

A greyhound/whippet × a python, but the python parts would be cool with bright/unnatural colors vs natural snake colors, especially if the greyhound parts would be natural colored.
