im thinking of the reason of his leaving being... well, he couldn't stand the brutality/leadership anymore of the tiles
hes just,,, inherently a good boy even if he looks rather disgruntled here

and his brother... well, wary is probably the main feeling. especially when he can snap just like that. though he does love him in a way
