When your "quick sketch" takes almost two hours..

Anyways, this is a WIP cover/extra for my entry for this stunning Rise kitty.
The black on the tree trunk is Kevin, the narrator. Kevin is a clump of fur.
I promise the title's uncreativity will make sense in the story.
