She moves quiet, quickly thru the streets. Sticking to the shadows in order to keep herself out of sight.
The palace guards were hot on her trail, but she was faster..and smarter.

"All this chasing for a few loafs of bread..." She dipped into a small opening in one of the run down buildings and made her way thru several deserted alleyways.
Once she was sure she was safe she slumped against the wall and pulled apart the bread, going to town on it.

uwo Between two indifferent villages, there is a trodden dirt road perpetually laced with fine fog. The people who travel it pass innocuously, their carts rattling on towards their distant destinations with purpose. Those with better observation may notice the sign leading them to the poorly cobbled path splitting through the trees. At the end of the sparse stones lies a humble tavern, glowing softly and singing the muted notes of a lutist.

owo Inside sit familiar patrons at heavy oaken tables. Casual chatter and the enticing smell of mead waft throughout the warm room. At the back of the pub stands a tall, solemn man tidying the counter. You wouldn't know it, but Edlehardt used to be quite the adventurer when he was much younger, much more ignorant. He and his daring companions would seek out the most thrilling legends just to tell the tales; the attention from alehouses much livelier than his own fueled his spirit.

uwu Now, he monitors the monotonous stories of his patrons with a yearning, melancholy heart. He can barely bring himself to leave the house if not for supply runs, which even then he pushes onto his son Ganymede. A particularly haunting experience during one of his exploits persuaded him into a permanent state of reclusion for the safety's sake. When not serving his customers, Edlehardt confines himself to the security his room reading literature that Gany brings. He knows Ganymede craves more than this inn, but dares not relinquish the boy to the dangerous unknown.

1687 - Off the coast of Ireland

Screaming. Yelling. Waves rise up only to plunge my head deeper into the inky depths. Sounds blend together into nothing more than white noise, and it takes every ounce of my strength to fight the murky waters begging for my death.

My crew. My crew I'd thought to be so loyal. They turned... A mutiny! Anger wells up within me, and suddenly a surge of determination comes over me. I throw one arm over my head, then the other, and begin the long swim to shore. I'll show them what it means to defy your captain!

Revenge. Those two kits, Howell and Marianne... I'll find them. I'll show them the true life as a pirate, I'll teach them a lesson.

Upon reaching shore, I collapse onto the coarse sand, and everything comes flooding in. The crew rising from below, screaming, fighting... I was outnumbered. I couldn't hold them off. The whole charge led by those two pathetic kits... And the next thing I know, I'm falling into the dark waters, triumphant cries piercing the night as I watch my crew sail away with my ship, fighting for my life.

I'll find them. I'll show them what it means to defy me, Captain Arkyn. I'll come when they least expect it, and they'll never know what hit them.

Revenge. Justice. Pride.

avalon often comes off as very abrasive and sly. although they do act this way as well as
seem this way, he is an otherwise very calm and charming kalon. he spends most of his
time secluded into the sacred woods that he calls home, along with one of his only friends
juno. he tends to spend a lot of time with her, and although neither say much, not many
words are needed to be said since they are able to understand each other in means that
many cannot.

he also often spends his times wandering local woods outside of his lands. although he
wants to make friends, he is very coy and likes to play loki with kids playing in the woods
or couples going on midnight strolls. it would not be uncommon for you to see him hidden
within the trees or digging a hole in the ground to trap or scare passerby's with. this has
gained him the nickname of 'loki's shadow'. you will often hear of other kalon theorists
coming to these woods, hoping to catch a glimpse of his starking eyes or beautiful coat.
he's known as a bit of a legend in these parts and he loves to soak in the attention and
tries to 'live up to his name'. although juno surely does not approve with his actions, he still
does it anyway because he knows his friend will never not stand by his side.
