Possibly making some stories of these guys, but I'm so indecisive...So, after I'm done telling the their story I'd like your help filling in the blanks.

So, These guys are brothers and they are both human (In a sense). Their eyes change from regular blue eyes to red eyes, with blue pupils, and a yellow fill where the white should be. And when that happens their personality totally change. Well, sort of. I'll explain it.

The one that smiles, in his normal form, is a sad sack. He's awkward and depressed and mentally troubled. But once he changes he becomes the true form of his inner conscience: insane from head to toe.

The one that frowns, in his normal form, is narcissistic. He's very full of himself and a lying trickster. But once he changes he becomes true form, blah, blah, blah,: He's really a miserable being.

The red parts on their mask show their scars. Like the X is an actual X scar on his forehead. (I have one just like it) and on the other guy it's to show the damage on his left brain. There is no physical damage but he's a strictly right brained guy. It's facts or nothing with him.
That's all I got.

First things first, I need help with their names. I'm think about naming the smiley one Lewis but that's all I got. I also kinda want to give them hero names like Bruce=Batman....Lewis=?????

Also, I can't for the life of me think of a reasonable plot line. Why do their eyes change? What do they do when their in hero mode? Who is the antagonist? And stuff like that.

You don't have to comment on this but I sure would appropriate the help.

Ah, how could I resist helping a fellow aspiring author in distress? Maybe they were the subjects of some strange experiment or spell, and that's why their eyes change color? Maybe they get possessed by lost souls or evil spirits and that changes them? In terms of names, I like Lewis. Not so sure about Bruce though, maybe call the frowning one Leo? Or Santander? (just random names :3) Perhaps they aren't heros, but criminals when their eyes change color? Or, if you're set on the hero thing, they could be the only ones fighting crime in a corrupt post-apocolyptic society? For the antagonist: either a detective (if they're criminals) or a crime lord (if they're not). Sorry, can't think of any antagonists...

They look more like villains to me...but I actually think they are quite cool(:
As for why their eyes change, maybe they were used as test subjects, and that was the side affect? Or possibly, they were born with a strange mutation which made their eyes change when they're alter ego's take over. (meh, sorry..I don't have much...)

I like Lewis. And I also like tarantulasrcool suggestion of naming the frowning one Leo. Having both names start with L sounds nifty(:
