@ RattieLover_55: some of us have/had pet snakes too, and although it is kind of sad, they do eat mice. :(

Thought I'd specify what I meant, as so many people are angered by this picture.
By "That's beautiful", I meant the the art work. The quality of it. Not the fact that it's eating a mouse.... Although, personally I don't see what's so horribly offensive about that...

And typically, the mouse is already dead when you give it to the snake. People seem to be under the impression that you just set a mouse free in the cage and watch. It's not true! If the mouse is alive, they fight back and can hurt the snake. It's never advisable to feed live mice. >.>
also, Neko1998 (page 2): Hitting the snake is not nice. Snakes have feelings too, and it's somebody's beloved pet. :(
I find a lot of the comments on this picture to be very cruel and horribly one sided. T~T
and it's too bad because the artwork is exceptional.
