"We are well enough to travel now. WindClan will be in your debt, Yellowstar."
The pretty cream she-cat twitched her ears, dipping her head. "May StarClan go with you and your warriors."
"Rest well. You will be taking Woodheart to the moonpool, I believe." Feathersong purred, touching noses with the WindClan medicine cat, who bowed his head.
With one last nod, the beech-brown, long-limbed tom nodded, starting to lead his clan away. There were a few mews of goodbye before WindClan completely filed out.
Slowly, the host clan retired for the night. The stars twinkled brightly overhead, and below, an owl hooted. The silence was shattered with a screech that ripped through the air.
"Help!I'm being attacked!" Squealed a voice.
The cream she-cat jumped up instantly, her stocky but quick legs carrying her to the apprentices den. The three apprentices, Minnowpaw, Reedpaw, and Rosepaw, were wrestling with a ball of brown fur, and soon they pinned the cat down.
"We have him, Yellowstar!" Yowled Greenpaw.
"What...is going on here? What are you doing to this WindClan cat?" Meowed Yellowstar, stepping forwards. "Sleetpaw." She thought immediately.
"Your apprentices attacked me, Yellowstar." The tabby meowed, holding his head up proudly.
"Hold on, Sleetpaw. Your clan has gone home already. Should we send for a patrol to take you back?" Yellowstar swished her tail, waving at the RiverClan warriors outside the den.
"No need, Yellowstar. I'm pernamently making a home in RiverClan." Sleetpaw meowed."I've already talked with Woodheart."
"Wait, but-" Yellowstar started, ignoring the angry murmurs of her clan.
"I have no parents and no future in WindClan."Sleetpaw explained.
Yellowstar held up her tail for silence. " Let's go down to the river to talk." The she-cat meowed, ignoring the looks that her clanmates gave her.
*So,this is when Sleetpaw begs Yellowstar for a place in RiverClan.*
