This is a wip of a dragon consisting of two of my OC's Orian (blue) and Shard (red) [WoF OC's]
heres this scene

Orian walked into the throne room, her mother, the queen, was sitting on her pearly white throne gazing down upon Orian and Shard. Orain was hesitant, she knew her mother, her mother was ruthless. If her mother knew how Orian had been training with a misfit, un-royal icewing, she would be furious. If Orain came clean, it was no telling what her her mother would do.
As Orain shakily stepped into a ray of sunlight her mother scowled, "You're just as ugly as you were when you were born. Unknown, and a hideous remark on my part, I'm not sure why you haven't been killed yet."
Shard stepped back, "Ex-excuse me your highness, but that isn't very kind of you to tell your own daughter..."
Wide shimmery wings spread, glittering in the pale sunlight, the snow was falling silently outside. There were long wing beats, loud and disrupting. There was a clinking noise as the queen landed in front of them. Orian's blood went cold. Something bad was going to happen, and there was no way to prevent it. Someone was going to die.
Orain wanted so badly to reach out and slit her mothers throat right there and then. As a clinking continued, the queen paced in-front of Shard. Shard hesitated and stepped back; the queen perused.
"Now why. Why you ignorant wrong, dragon. Think, that if you just waltz in, and train with my political tool, saying shes your friend. That shes beautiful, that shes anything but ugly, except for the mind reading to help with politics is the only beautiful thing about her.. I have a beautiful perfect daughter, in her room, I was going to have her out her so she can see what not to become, but i thought she'd become too much like you Orain, too nice, and too outgoing, to good for everyone else," the queen mumbled out, sometimes heading toward Orian.
"Shut you mouth, you no nothing mother.. You think you are just going to come in here, deny me of my right to have a life. and say it's all because of me, bull crap, you mean nothing to me mother, you mean nothing, you were never there for me, you were never there for me the first to years of my life.. And now, now you just expect me to cooperate, not reach out and enjoy myself, you expect me to sit in a cramped dank cave, no light, no people, no food, and just live with it, just because I'm not normal.. By the way, what is normal, because it's not you, its not poor Flurry, it's god forbid not me, if it's not us than who is it? It can't be you because you were born with a horn defect, which you say it just shows how you persevere through taunting. Taunting isn't anything compared to what you put me through day and night. You said it yourself, I'm a tool, not even a dragon."

Shard stood there stunned, staring at Orain with a wide eyed look. Her mother blinked.
Crash
A body was on the ground. Blood was everywhere, it smelled like salt, as Shard lay on the ground, her throat cut and bleeding to death. Orain ran to her side as Shard was crying. "Orain, thank you, thank you for being my only friend, thank you for putting me in the ranks, I loved it.. I never got to tell you how much I-" Her voice cut off when a single tear rolled down her face and her eyes glazed over.
"Shard, Shard, listen to me, you are not leaving me, not now, not ever," Orain said as she got down next to Shard and started shaking her. By now Orain was bawling.

After 10 minutes of trying, Orian knew she was gone, her own mother had killed her best friend in vain.





Sorry that was so long, I just really wanted to tell how much pain Orian went through as her own mother murdered her best friend right infront of her.

Oh my gosh. Her mother sounds HORRIBLE. I can't even imagine that...

But this was such a good little scene you made! I loved it! Poor Shard and Orian... DX
