Revamp of Grill,'s oc Esther
Here's What I Changed
I started off with the base design, I felt that just making her a wolf/dog with a shark tail would be a bit generic, so I went a bit further with the design.
I gave her a very clear, streamlined shape, short and sleek fur that clumps in tufts at certain points, she has slit pupils, and her canid nose has been swapped out for something more closely resembling gills, instead of putting them on her neck, I thought it would look better to put them on her snout. I've also given her more shark-like teeth as well as some less dog-like ears.
I've added some extra fins as well and opted to forego any kind of claws.
I added some extra colors, different shades of blue and orange. I agreed with what you'd said about the original colors, the orange was far too red and the blue was far too green, I gave some more readable markings in place of the original for the sake of balancing the colors, as the extra blue on the body is a bit confusing haha.

Suggestions: (What do you not like about the character? What would you change? What would you add or take away?) The colors are really not my favorite/ they don't really mix well together in my opinion. Maybe give her a ponytail instead of a bob haircut?
