the first actual oc ive made in so long xD Ill probably stick to drawing him offsite, as thats what im comfortable with, but I wanted to write down his info somewhere.
a decaying soul trapped within a porcelain body. after dying, this creature (others are unsure whether or not he was originally human or an animal of some sort) stayed on earth for far too long. because of this, his soul began to darken. a young male human, a witchdoctor, found him and felt pity towards him. so he bound his soul to a flower pendant. the creature fell in love with the witch doctor, but after a few weeks, the man disappeared and never returned. the creature now wanders the woods helplessly, searching for his lost love. many say they hear weeping and wailing deep within the woods. therefore, no one has gone into the woods for quite some time now. this has caused the creature to become lonely and even more heartbroken. as he wanders, the pendants petals slowly break away. and with this, his "body" slowly cracks and breaks away as well, causing his soul to drip out. however, because of the way his soul was bound, as his soul drips out of his "body", it begins to decay. the only one able to fix it is the witchdoctor or someone like him.
the witchdoctor created his "body"/shell to help bind his soul. so the creatures soul is bound both to the pendant and the shell. the shell was made to look somewhat like a bird. and while it doesnt appear to have a mouth, the creature can still speak and wail. its what he is known for (wailing), although no one has actually ever met him since his death (other than the witchdoctor). many tell story of the beast within the woods, and many myths and theories have been created. however, no one has ever gone to see if any of them are real. he stands at a thundering 8 feet tall, but is the most gentle soul youd ever meet. he loves animals, especially birds (as that was the witchdoctors favorite animal and what he based the creatures shell off of), and they seem to trust him.
