Your art is PERFECT
I've been meaning to say something that's been on my mind for a long while now,
and I've seen a lot of people draw something beautiful that came from their heart, and I'd
be so torn when they said their art style was ugly, bad, unpleasing...

When really their piece is a wonderful work of art, that absolutely came from their own
creativity as a whole. It's normal to feel this way, thinking that your style is bad, and trust
me I've also been there.
It takes time to fully develop a style, and that's fine. I'm still developing my style. But the
problem that ceases to restrict anyone from developing is self-doubt. Even if somebody's art
piece isn't completed or done to full potential.. it's still from their heart. And that is
BEAUTIFUL.

Everybody has their own style of drawing whether you're a beginner, intermediate or
professional. And unfortunately it only takes one person to say your art is bad, to completely
crush everything you've drawn.

No matter how hard you try, your art is absolutely perfect. Whether you're still developing your
style or not, it's YOUR style, and nobody can ever replicate it. That's why it's so special to one's own,
your art style is to be bragged about and cherished.

Next time you think one of your art pieces is plain bad, remember that it's beautiful, because it's yours.
Nobody else.

I remember a couple of years ago, I would always draw in the margins of my textbooks at school. One day my teacher saw me sketching and she got super mad, she snatched my book from me and tore out all the pages, crumpling them up and telling me I sucked at art.
That hurt me so much, I stopped drawing for about three years.
I dropped out of school to be homeschooled, and I would never touch a sketch book.
I eventually decided that art was okay, that my art wasn't as bad as my teacher had made it feel.
Now I've picked up art again but I wish I had gotten into it sooner ^^

I dislike the people who call other's art bad or terrible words. Everyone's art is amazing and will never be different.

I remember I used to be so confident with my old art.
