anyway accidentally made a new character, but they kinda remind me of an adoptable ive seen before?? cant remember what it actually was though..

the gem on their back contains their soul, and their soul is what processes what they eat into usable energy. it's also pretty much their weak point. basically if the gem was ever cracked/broken the energy would leak out and they'd go into a coma while whatever remains of the gem tries to fix itself with passing energy, and if somehow they're detached, reattach itself to the main body.

whenever its using up energy it glows, like when it leaks or just when it voluntarily makes it glow

they also wear a pair of fake ears because they dont actually have any and want to fit in better :(

their front legs are a little shorter than the back ones so their back is higher than the front when standing on fours, they can also stand up on two legs by balancing with their tail, though they cant actually walk like that.

might develop this character a bit further later but idk
