Felidae

Postby nolongeractive- » Fri Nov 26, 2010 9:44 am

So yesterday I watched a movie called Felidae. It was a great cat cartoon movie (Not for children!!! Very explicit material!) And I was so mesmerized by the film that I had to draw my own cat in respect to Francis, Felicity, and Blue Beard( I named the cat that I drew Dominick just for fun ^^). I don't draw cats a lot so I would love some critiquing on that. Also, I'm quite aware of the suckish background. I still need to practice my backgrounds  ;)

Anyways, enjoy the drawing and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Oh yeah and Francis the cat FTW! haha.

That's awesome! Your cartoon anatomy is so... perfect. I fail at it so hard. What's the movie about?

Thank you ^^

Well, The movie's about a cat named Francis that moves into a new home with his owner. Before he even gets to settle in, there has been a series of cat murders and he immediately gets involved. I'm not gonna say any more other than it's a mystery movie.

Wow! This is really great! I was just skimming through, saw Francis and was like :O Felidae! That was one of the most disturbing yet amazing movies I've ever seen:P Wonderful job(:

Thanks. I miss the old movies like Felidae, The Plague Dogs, and Watership Down. They were all disturbing yet excellent films!

Haha very much so! Awesome job! Man Felidae gave me the creeps when I watched it! Most definately NOT a childrens movie. I like Plague dogs and Watership Down too, Richard Adams writes very well. I read Watership Down but I'm kind of afraid to read the Plague Dogs. To tell the truth, plague dogs made me cry T-T

Oh I know, I want to read the books but I can't find them. I love Snitter and The Todd from the Plague Dogs. I think I might draw Snitter soon, actually.

Yeah me too, they're pretty cute. I feel sorry for them though, I hope they make it to the island in the end because you feel so sorry for them! I'll have to keep me eyes open for them when you do ^^

I heard the movie ending and the book ending are very different. Let's just hope that means a happy ending.

I skimmed over the ending once when I was at a bookstore, but I couldn't make much sense of it. It almost seemed like a cliff hanger but I figured I might just have to read the book to get what was happening.
