The best dog ever, no matter what anyone else says. She's quirky and funny, always respond to what you say, whether it's an ear movement towards you to indicate she's listening, or sitting up and tilting her head. She finds joy in the simplest of things, from going for walks to being rubbed. Always with a lively gait, she trots around sniffing things she deems interesting. She's never been the type to be an "average" dog from the minute her ear flipped down. She enjoys to bark at the wind to show it who's boss and run around the house at high rates of speed on her stubby little legs. Her amber eyes are watching every little movement you do, whether it's walking to get a drink or reading a book. She enjoys cuddling up with my mother and hopping on the newspapers when you're reading them. She's stubborn, adorable and anything but calm and chilled. She gets elated whenever a family member arrives home after work or school, always running to get who ever is in the house to alert them someone has arrived by running into the room you're in, giving you a concerned look or even a yip, then running to the door. She can sit, stay, sit pretty, give you her paw, lay down a roll over. She loves tennis balls and tug ropes, chase games and meeting others. Walks are usually runs. Her favorite spot in the world, is either in a person's lap, on top of a loveseat where she has a good view of the front yard and the road, or on a hassock. She always has to have an eye on everything; to make sure everything is ordinary. Those large eyes hear everything in an at least one mile radius around her, and she barks at the slightest sound. My favorite moments with her, are when I've arrived home and she walks over her little stub of a tail wagging. She'll jump on me, her mouth open in a doggie smile as she licks my hands in greeting. I sit on the ground, and she'll walk over and demand my pure and whole attention so I'll have to rub her tiny body. This is dedicated to the very best dog ever, Aztec, my Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
