- ⭐️ Christmas time! ⭐️
These are floofy little dogs labelled as 'Malamutes' they're a mix breed between Newfoundlands, Siberian and Malamute huskies, as well as a smidge of Tibetan mastiff. They're muscular dogs under all the fuzz and were originally bred in the highlands of Alaska for herding small groups of livestock like reindeer and cattle and protecting them from predators like timber wolves and bears. Their cute completion contrasts with their massive size and pure power, averaging out at around the size of an adult Tibetan Mastiff. Having the characteristics of a Newfoundland allows them to remain buoyant in ice cold water, as their fur doesn't become waterlogged and their toes are webbed. A thick layer of skin and fat protects them from the harsh winter winds and the scorn of the tundra blizzards. Being part Malamute part Siberian husky allows them also to pull heavy loads and move far distances daily, they have endurance, speed and elegance. They're an overall diverse canine, with multiple uses. The nature of each dog is dependant upon what percentage of their ancestor is reflected in their personality.
