To be fair, we do not have the ability to give out warnings when someone hurts our feelings..

I think its fair to worry about the power imbalance between moderators and users, when moderators have the capacity to remove a post or lock a thread, simply because it offends them in some way.

Now, I'm not saying the moderator did or did not make a reasonable decision in this matter. What I'm saying is that, these drawing, species and posts, are peoples livelihoods.. While they may not supply people income, users devote a lot of time to these things, because they really care about what they create.. It's incredibly heartbreaking to have something like that demolished in an instant.. I realize moderators are just doing their jobs, but everyone occasionally makes mistakes, and with no system of review for these cases, there are no checks and balances..

No, you don't have the ability to hand out a warning; you have the ability to report the post and have a moderator hand out a warning if you are being harassed by users. Which is what this is: harassment. If people were calling another user 'dumb' it wouldn't be okay and there wouldn't be a discussion of power imbalance. We are users too.

No moderator locks or removes posts because it offends them. If that were the truth, I feel like we'd be missing a lot of posts, lol. Everyone has different topics that offend them. When I see something I don't like, I move on; unless it is rule breaking material.

Art theft is art theft; that is absolute. Just because the artist it is stolen from is okay with it does not mean it's suddenly okay. We do not support art theft on this website at all; and nothing will change that.

Considering I'm the one that made the comment, I see no reason to warn Ryuuhou just for agreeing with me.
I completely understand both sides of this, and mean absolutely no offense to you or any mod personally - but my opinion stands and I absolutely have a right to it. If it hurts your feelings I apologize, but my point is valid. Everyone makes stupid mistakes.
Either way I do hope you wont take this to heart, I never enjoy being rude to people, regardless of the topic. You're a very respectable mod and I don't mean to cause any discrepancies with you.
