I wish I could say the same, I remember being pretty young and playing a game about warrior cats on another game I think? And my character was a black cat with pink paws and her name was "Starpaw".

Good thing I am much better now, And I am proud to say that Cedarstem is now safe from the horrors that is neons.

i think sparkle ocs are cute :'0 there's really nothing wrong with having a bright oc imo. a lot of people add really dark alternative ocs to stuff that usually tends to have bright/cheery characters (example, mlp) and i just think that a lot of people bash sparkles for no reason v~v i mean yea the backstory could be... improved but i like giving constructive criticism more than making fun of someone's oc, yknow? :'0 i stopped making ocs for a while because someone called one of mine a generic sparkle and it took me a while to get my confidence back. i'm not trying to start anything it's just my input vov;;

I'm mostly making fun of myself, As I made a char like this once. Though neon colors can be quite irritating to see, Especially when a lot of them have generic backstories, or overly complicated designs. I'm not saying neon is bad, Though making pitch black characters with bright neon rainbow colors on it is sort of looked down upon when creating OCs. 'Sparkle' colors can be used on OCs if people use it correctly, Though if it looks like a unicorn threw up on some lineart with some soapy backstory it's bound to get some backlash.

I understand, It is fun to make a character with as many colors as you please sometimes, I had some fun just throwing the colors onto this.. Disgusting lineart I drew. It doesn't hurt anyone by making a drawing unless it's a form of hate directed towards someone, So no harm would be done, But people sometimes go crazy and act like you've offended their entire family if you get one thing wrong on a character and it gets really annoying sometimes 0.0'
