I would love to try out that shading style! I still need to get more comfortable with where to put the shading at in certain angles, but once I get the hang of that, I'll be overjoyed ;v;
I'll also try out the fur style! I am actually practicing making short-haired cats actually look short-haired, like yours. It always turns out looking unnatural though. I'll definitely work on the tail length with Envy! Nox does have a naturally long tail though.
