So this is an adopt thinger I've been doodling for a while now in my sketch books. I call 'em Foodhogs (Foo Dhogs/ Food Hogs, idek)
They do not live on earth, in fact, they are a popular breed of extraterrestrial animal who guard imperial palaces off world.
The planet on which their origins lie is an extreme trading post, so they interact with a great deal of races on a regular basis, some even travel and leave their home planet in search of greater discovery.
They can stand on their hind legs, some have even gone so far as to make that their primary posture.
for no reason in particular they can do the frog thing and extend their throats and ribbit because thats v cute
because their exposure to so many different types of creatures, interracial couples are not uncommon. However, these couples will never be able to breed. (some exceptions may be made). Any other type of relationship is allowed and warmly welcomed!
The specimen you see above is the most common type of foodhog, there will actually be quite a bit of variety
I kinda want this species to have its own currency, and you can buy special things... i dunno, these are still in development
