Small feathers developed into fur can be used as weapons (Maleficent kindaish) Lanterns hold their first thought, their star they've created to protect you. Wolf size, born on planets, traveling star to star, universe to universe finding there owner.

i like this concept. i have a similar design where a dragon lives in space where aurora borealis is, and uses it's crystalline tail to start a fire. It then inhales the burnt gas and uses that as it's breath weapon. the ideas in your creature are beautiful.
