Zíyòu pranced through the forest with a cheerful skip. The early morning fog had drifted away, absorbed by the plants that surrounded it, and the dew slid lazily from leaves as the sun crept up the sky toward the peak of its daily journey. Zíyòu pranced along, clueless to the periwinkle Viscet that lurked nearby. The female Viscet watched Zíyòu curiously, following at a cautious distance. She followed him until he stopped at a stream to drink. There, she watched him quietly before beginning to creep toward him, keeping her body low to the ground while her tail flicked like a lions. She crawled until she was meer feet from the Viscet, and that's when Teeki saw her. The small bird let out a shrill chirp which brought Zíyòu's attention to the Viscet, who tackled him as he turned. The two fell into the stream and Zíyòu shoved her away, standing hunched and tense as he stared at the Viscet, believing her to be another aggressive Viscet. When she broke out in laughter, he was caught off guard. Zíyòu rose and cocked his head in confusion at the Viscet who had just been stalking him. "I-...you...what?"
The Viscet smiled at him with shimmering teeth. "I'm Paw. Your Zíyòu, right? Space told me about a blue and green Viscet named Zíyòu who was nearby. I wanted to meet you."
"Well that was quite a greeting..."
"Thank you! I think it keeps things interesting. So your from China, huh?"
"Yeah... How much did she tell you?"
"Everything. We're best friends."
"Oh. That makes sense I guess."
Paw nodded and began to study him. "Nice necklace."
"Thank you, I-"
"Have you met Pilot yet?"
"Pilot?..."
"Yes! He's Space's son."
"Oh."
Paw nodded and smiled at him. "Well, your probably busy, huh?"
"Not entirely..."
"It's okay, you don't have to lie to me." Paw smiled and gave Zíyòu's head a gentle pat, which earned her a confused look from Zíyòu. "I'll just see you around then. Goodbye! It was nice to meet you!" Paw turned and sprinted off before Zíyòu could speak another word, which left him in an even more confused state.
