Zìyóu sniffled and held back a sneeze. He trudged through the short grass of the abandoned park weerily and with groggy eyes. Constant travel and weather changes had left him with a cold, but that wasn't going to stop him today.
Zìyóu paused and scrunched up his nose, holding his breath for a moment before sneezing. He groaned and rubbed his snout with a paw, ignoring Teekis churring of irritation.
"Hey, you okay?"
Zìyóu looked up at a grey and blue Viscet with glasses and a little rubber bracelet. "Yeah, just a bit sick. Who are you?"
"Siri."
"Hello, I'm-" he paused again, wrinkling his snout as a phantom sneeze haunted him. When it passed, he shook his head and carried on. "Zìyóu. This is Teeki."
"It's nice to meet you. So, what are you doing out here when your sick?"
"Traveling. It's just a cold, so it's nothing major."
"Huh... Do you travel a lot?"
"Yeah..."
"Where are you from?"
"China. Teeki's from Africa."
"Really? Those are pretty far. How'd you get here?"
"I got my head stuck on a boat."
Siri raised an eyebrow, not believing him. After a moment of studying his face, he realized that Zìyóu was serious and smiled a bit. "Well that's one way to travel!"
"I guess." Zìyóu chuckled and sat down, tired from his journey. Siri sat in front of him and cocked his head slightly.
"Where are you going?"
"Where I've never been."
"Sounds interesting."
"It can be."
"What's your favorite place?"
"Niagra Falls."
Siri smiled and whipped out an odd box Zìyóu had never seen before. After a few clicking noises, several pictures of the amazing waterfall popped up.
"This one?"
"What in the world?..."
"Technology! Pretty cool, huh?"
"How?...Techna-what?"
Siri laughed. "Technology. I can look up anything with it!" Siri then began explaining how it worked, what it does, and why it's important. Zìyóu tried to keep up, though he still hardly understood the word itself. By the end of the miniature lesson, Siri smiled at Zìyóu, who returned it politely.
"I'll be honest here, that all went right over my head..." Zìyóu let out a nervous chuckle, which evolved into a harsh cough followed by a sickly groan.
Siri chuckled. "Don't worry about it, not very many do." He turned his head to the sky and watched the darker colors. "I should be heading back. It was nice to meet you, and have fun on your journey!"
Zìyóu got up slowly and smiled. "Thank you. Be safe on your way home. I hope we can meet again." He watched Siri jogg off before turning and carrying on, sneezing as he went.
