I'm done!
I am exhausted. I want to declare I will never, ever do this again because I spent all day and I'm so tired. It's nearly 2 am. However, I suppose I shouldn't make promises I can't keep.
This began as a line on a paper, because I was determined to do a doodle or something. The line became a feather. The feather became a quill-- no, a wick! A wick for a flame, the flame burning the feather. The candle turned out lopsided. The candle would not, for the life of me, be straight up and down. Why was it lopsided? Faeries is why! Faeries with wings. The faeries, of course, grew their own personalities-- and one of them had to be missing, or the candle wouldn't be lopsided. That faerie must like the fire. I do, too. I scribbled until I had a sketch, and I liked the sketch, so I made the sketch a proper art thingie. The sketch was twenty minutes of playing. The art was forever and ever of ugh why did I decide to do this? I don't even know if it's good or if I like it or anything, I'm done!
I'd love to hear what you think! Have a favorite faerie?
