I'm trying some art to match a bit of the folklore for a short story I've been working on.
Far from my best, of course, but oh, well.
Basically, there is this place of myth known as Tread Cave filled all sorts of strange animals.
Worms with five eyes, Bats with twenty fangs, and Fish with glowing wings are just a few.
The strangest beast, however, goes simple by "The Creature."
Legend has it that The Creature is so old his bones have outgrown his skin and his mane has turned to moss as his claws petrified to stone.
The Creature is said to be stronger than a thousand men, and taller than them, too.
Yet even for his size, this glorious beast is agile and silent.
His mouth is adorned with rows of piercing teeth and a forked tongue.
The myth of The Creature claims that a man once attempted to slay him, but I assume you are not interested in listening to what is really just a tale.
