- Apparently this is a Lif! A lif is a small creature vaguely resemebling a moth, but acting very much like a small cat! They all have some minor ability to control and manipulate elements, and their element is indicated by the color of the markings on their faces (which all lifs have). Young lifs cannot manifest matter, but older lifs are able to! They often use their magic abilities for hunting or protecting themselves. All lifs also have an eye spot on their mane, which is somewhat iridescent. A frightened lif will poof up their mane, which makes the eye spot seem to grow tremendously and flash in the light, startling would-be predators. Lifs are very inquisitive and easy to tame, especially if you offer them food! They feed mainly on bugs, but are true omnivores and many enjoy ripe fruit. In fact overripe fruit is a favorite as they feast on fruit flies and the fruit's flesh! An adult lif is 18"-24" [45.72cm-60.96cm] in length, and weighs between 3.0 and 3.5 pounds [1.36kg-1.59kg].
I've been stressed but I might run a small-time adoptable center with these guys because they're simple and precious, haha.
