I recently re-watched it myself, I loved GB and Mel, they were my favorite characters. (Reika was also really good!)

Yeah. I enjoyed GB's character growth throughout the series and Jerome too and I loved John. I bawled when he was murdered by Hougen. What a fighting spirit. I also enjoyed Kyoshiro. Really, I enjoyed it all. x3
