Viper-Tusk Rex

Viper-Tusk Rex- A dinosaur-like monstrosity know for its tendencies of violence. These beasties are similar to Tyrannosaurus' of the past, they are genetically modified to be much more...killer,being known to hunt prey just for the hell of it and can easily hunt an animal to extinction. They are surprisingly fast when running at full charge hitting speed of 50 mph. They are also known for their extremely bright colors and blue mouths. When angered or agitated a VTR's will spit a goopy saliva which is used for defending or blinding prey, this saliva is simply its drool but has a bacteria in it that causes eyes to become irritated for a few moment, however that is long enough for the VTR to get a kill. As stated earlier they hunt for sport too however they seem to know when they're killed enough for sporting reasons and if they find prey is a little scarce they'll simply hunt for food rather then sport, they are carnivorous beasts similar to a trex tearing off chunks of meat and then swallowing them whole. Though they mainly sport two legs, they have been seen walking on all fours, however they were only see just that, walking, not sprint after a meal or something, so they seem to go to all fours when taking a relaxing stroll, or if they feel safe enough. Watch their tails, their tails are thin however they have a destructive force behind them and can smack a car away like it was a piece of paper, they also have a love for gemstones as in their tail in embedded gem rocks and such, anything that shines it usually takes a liking too. Like a snakes their tongues flick in an out to scent for prey. When it senses danger, which is rare for a beasty like this, their spines on their neck make a rattling noise which acts like a radio telling others to leave the area immediately. Though not sociable as dogs or cats, they will sometimes tag team in a small group of five, lead by an alpha which is determined by the size of his/hers horns, leaving the 'Squadron' is allowed anytime whether it is just to leave for better Squad or just to lone wolf it, Squadrons are very open and acceptable however not when it comes down to someone else wanting to be Alpha. Each VTR has a job in the Sqaudron, while the Alpha devises a plan while watching the prey without starling it, two flank the prey, and two wait ahead and corner the prey, essential if the Alpha doesnt need to get its fangs bloody then the plan went perfect, if the Alpha had to intervene then the plan went south. Alphas may seem to be lazy but are actually vital to the hunt and different enough they eat last. Very dangerous and aggressive species , however if successfully tamed they are loyal to their masters.

Diet: Carnivore, various animals, anything it can chase down.

Size: 57 Ft

Breeding: Breeding seasons are usually Spring and Fall seasons. It is at this point that VTR's become extremely hostile towards each other, some even killing another VTR even on purpose just to ensure that it mates. Females especially become hostile, not towards females, but towards males, because to their eyes it has to be a perfect suitor and if its not the female will attack and drive off the male. To soy a 'perfect male' female look for extremely bright colorations in the scales of males, this is why if a male hatching hatches with extremely bright colors, though itll be a poor hunter due to no camouflage, itll have a better chance of succeeding a mate. VTR's do not mate for life, and make nests out of rocks and leaves, and sometimes make dens in diggable cliff sides. Eggs hatch pending on the season they breed in, Spring its Winter, and Fall is Summer. A female can lay about 3-4 eggs. Eggs are the size of softballs.
