Not to mention her mane, which was long, and a very rare design. Ponies all over admired her for it. She was just a Pegasus, a little foal who had an admirable mane.
Then, our world was shattered. Villians arised like no other, killing our ponies off and injuring others, leaving none unharmed. Our colonies strived, foals were often found orphaned and on the streets. The Sirens began tempting, leaving the foals, who were immune to the Siren's spells. Our parents fought endlessly, feeding the Siren's power. We were young foals, but we knew we couldn't just stand there, seeing our parents suffer. We had decided to sing back to the Sirens, where I had the strongest(maybe not the best) singing voice. During one of the Siren's singing sessions, myself along with 2 other foals had began our plan. I began singing, while the other two were trying to get their parents out of the spell. I remember the Sirens stopping and turning their attention to me. The leader, then flew down to me. She roared in my face, grabbing me and flying to a place I was unfamiliar with. She threw my to the ground, the cave was like a prison cell. Ponies were zombies, obeying her commands. I heard scraping, metal on the metal floor. She picked up a metal muzzle, and crawled over to me with pattern. She sat up, towering over me. I remember crying, afraid of what was to come. Then, everything was silence. There was a literal absence of sound, no sound from the workers while I stood with my eyes shut. She then whispered to me. "You shall never sing with that ugly voice again!" She grabbed my muzzle, I knew she could feel the tears stained on my cheeks. She clamped the muzzle on me, crushing my jaw. She then smashed in a hook, on both sides of my head, to hold the heavy thing up. Inside, it had hooks, opening my mouth and from then on, held a fake smile forever. She cast a curse on me as well, that I would never use my wings again. Creating an illusion I was an Alicorn, where I certainly wished I was not. The horn was a curse, the dark magic within it kept my wings sealed. She kept me prisoner, my agony kept her young. I couldn't understand why she cursed my wings, and clamped my jaw shut when she could have just thrown me out, kept me as a slave. The last night there was the most memorable. I lie in the cage, keeping my body close, listening to the Sirens singing to the slaves, as they did every night. That night they were banished, and I woke to see my tail cut. I couldn't stand, my leg had partially turned to bone that night as well. I remember staying there for countless moons, hearing the colony fail to be pieced together again. One night, I heard a faint singing.
Come, little children, I'll take thee away
Into a land of enchantment
Come, little children, the time's come to play
Here in my garden of shadows
Follow, sweet children, I'll show thee the way
Through all the pain and the sorrows
Weep not, poor children, for life is this way
Murdering beauty and passions
Princess Luna showed to the cave entrance, and she sang so beautifully, I was enchanted and didn't realize I had been taken to another land. I slowly was nursed to health, and adapted to my ways. The curse never faded, even after the Siren's were conquered, the spell kept its well attached grip...
