Oekaki Tutorial for new artists

Postby .Shaded. » Tue Dec 23, 2014 10:05 am

Step 1: Select your tool of choice. (Pencil, Pen) Change Opacity to 255 and your color to 100%. Make your smoothing anywhere from 63-85%.

Step 2: Draw! Clean up the edges of your lines with the eraser at size 4 with smoothing.

Step 3: Color your drawing with the watercolor by setting it to full opacity and color, and turning smoothing to 63-85%. Make the brush small enough to color tough areas and clean up the excess color outside of the lines when your done! (:

I will be doing a tutorial on Layers soon, for artists who need help figuring out how to color their drawings without coloring over those pesky lines!

I hope this helped.<3

I know how you feel, I went through the same thing! I had a mouse when I was first learning and became very frustrated with how everything seemed so off! I wish one of these would have been out for myself, But I am happy to have helped other people! :)
