With darkness falling to my depths
And the cold pressing unto my heths
I silent say, be gone away
Show me thy break of day
Yet yunder and blunder through darkness fled
Unyielding, unfeeling past things undead
Till last upon the white bear stood
A land so frozen and misunderstood
From within his lungs he held one might
A precious as lost as one's last fight
Darkness screeched
and the cold leaped
Until deep inside, came the breath of light
