I am thinking costal... *insert name here*
They're a sea-based species, and carry a conch shell around a rope on their necks. Their ears have two different shells attached to them. The tail has a rope string with pebbles and a star fish on the end. They have little star markings somewhere on their body. They have seal-based noses and seal-based tails, making them efficient swimmers. These guys also have a grease layer under their pelts to make them streamlined, so despite them being fluffy, they're also streamline.
