Posting this now to see if the design is satisfactory.
I like him better without the hair, so I made that removable.

name: dane
gender: male
color palette: x
species: he's a mix of a canine and a white-tipped shark, much like this character of Blackbird's: x, x
other physical detail: he has honey-blonde hair in a style kind of like this: x, a small white heart on his right cheek just under his eyes, and eyes this tea-green color.
short personality: he's kind of a bad-boy, and he totally knows it. When he's not trying to be snarky or sarcastic, however, he can actually be a sweet guy. Fairly intelligent and rather hard to impress.
accessories: wears either a red bandanna or a black bow tie around his neck, two gold circular gold stud earrings on his left ear, bracelets x, and anything else you'd think would look good c:
optional if in anthro style: black t-shirt with a large white 'x' on the front, jeans, brown or black combat boots.
other: I don't have a picture for him yet, so I'll try to be as descriptive as I can, feel free to ask about anything or to add anything you'd like or if you want me to find a picture of something that looks similar to what I had in mind. It's kind of just an idea so far. c: If you really need a picture, I might be able to make one, but it will probably take me a couple of days or so. If he turns out to be super complicated, let me know and I'll add more to the trade c:

I'll keep the hair just so we can see what it looks like with the finished design, but you can remove it if you want to.

Update !

So I have the color palette saved, now. Finally. ^^
And I have the color base down, so now all I have to do is lock alpha and start working on the design. Do you have any thoughts for that, orrr...? Just want me to wing it? cx

Also, I added a couple accessories other than the ones you specified, because reasons: a tail cuff, dorsal fin piercings and caudal fin piercings, which will all look the same as the gold ones on his ear. c: Hope you like it so far, I'm enjoying working on this.
