There a dog/wolf type of Yokai. Although they're more of Ayakashi, since they appear near water.
- - Each one has a necklace with a gem/orb that contains souls/spirits
- The life purpose of each one is to fill the orb with souls. However, they can only get a specific soul type. [Happy, sorrow, rage, corrupt, etc.]
- Their personality are often the opposite of the souls they look for.
- Only few have filled their orbs.
- They all wears masks reflecting the souls they need. They only take it off once they reach their goal.
- Bones run down their spines
- They have a set of horns that can produce glowing orbs, which helps draw souls in.
- If they find a soul they do not need, they won't bother.
- They have yokai subspecies [Kitsune, Oni, Tengu, Yuki-onna, etc.]
- They wear items base accordingly to their yokai. [Yuki-onna = Scarf, Tengu = Rings, etc.]
- Their tails are also base off their Yokai.
- Their mates are often the exact opposite personality of the ayakashi, or the same as the souls they look for.
- Different powers for each one, though some may have none.
- Each belongs to a clan at some point of their life.
- They're are special ayakashi with blood that can strength other ayakashi. They're often very weak and can't protect themselves, so other ayakashi seek them out and form a contract. If a normal one and one with special blood mate and have a child, that child will be very strong and powerful, more powerful then a ayakashi at the head of a clan. They basically strengthen normal ones, and are rare due to that fact.
- They can take form of regular wolves/dogs to trick people.

I'll most likely just make it a character of mine, since I don't think anyone would actually adopt.
