Dad is very iffy about me getting another pet, but he seemed pretty okay about a cockatiel (he seems ok with caged non-smelly pets lol, guess that's why he agreed to snakes)

But I have also wanted a piano since I was a kid (well, I have one, it's just... not so good).

To make it worse, if I end up having to pay for most/some of the costs, it's coming out of my savings (which is primarily for school)

I'm lonely and would enjoy a affectionate animal, but I've always loved playing the piano

so I'm kinda torn, but I could just get neither I guess
why am I ranting about this, if I just save I can eventually get both if I think about it, just not at the same time
not really supposed to be a vote, but I wouldn't mind some good opinions

I'd say get the cockatiel since your lonely.
I have 2 (One's albino) and they are lil balls of adorable.
Make sure you get it from a breeder however so it can give you snuggles.

But what do i know? I'm just a random person on the internet hahh

I had heard hand fed (raised?) are best, yes!
I just have had a hard time meeting nice birds (though, those generally came from big-name pet stores) so I'm a bit nervous as to whether or not if I get one if it will be nice or not. :'>
