For those of you who don't know about The Lion Guard I have some news for you! There is going to be a new series coming out on Disney Junior called The Lion Guard. This is news for the Lion King fandom and I'd thought I'd spread it along. If you're not that big of a fan of TLK, then there's really nothing more to see here and I'll spare you all the reading (;

So basically this new series is going to be another sequel to the Lion King movies. This set of shows is going to be about Simba's son, Kion. Yep he has another son to add into the confusion. This one is official though and you can read about the series here, here, or here. Not much about the series is known yet, but there will be apperences from these characters according to those websites; Mufasa, Timon, Pumbaa, Simba, Nala, Rafiki, Zazu, and sister Kiara. Also we know that Kiara is Kion's older sister. But we don't quite know how much older. There's lots of possibilities, and I know I'm excited to find out. I'm also kind of worried that this little series could hurt the other two, wonderful movies. Kion's whole self just worries me. I mean what does his name even mean? All I can get out of it is Lion with a K instead of and L. Which is totally a lame ripoff of Simba's name which means Lion. As for his appearance... Well I'm really confused by it. When I looked at the article and saw the first picture I really didn't think he was that bad. I mean I know he's another simba look alike, but I'm pretty sure parents can have multiple kids that look more like one of the two. I mean I'd like to see some changes, but I really don't mind. The hair tuft and different eye color than Simba is enough to satisfy me. And I'm sure that the colorful hair, the way it looks gelled back, and the bright colors are just for the enjoyment of little kids. And I'm also fine with that. Its pretty close to the movie art besides the brightness, so that's not a big deal in my opinion. I was a little concerned by the paw tho. That's not natural. And when I took a closer look at the second picture I was beyond horrified. The cub just looks wrong... And unnatural. Something about his pose and his mouth just makes me want to gag. And the fact that his little tattoo seems to be glowing? Like wat. If that gives him like the power to fly or something I'm gonna be flipping tables. Lions are not magical! Princess and fairies can but no. Not lions! Keep the little turd looking like a real lion. His paw spots bug me too. I mean I think they're supposed to be cub spots... But they just Dont really 'go' with his pelt colors. They seem odd, like they don't belong there. I can't tell if they're red or brown.. But either way they should blend in more. Also, why are his eyes white? Don't the other lions in the movies have yellowish eye-whites? I'm really hoping this is just some sort of concept art and not his actual design.

I dunno. I'm just really on the fence with this new character and his show. I really hope it doesn't spoil the other two movies. But yeah I was just here to tell you guys about the exciting news and give my opinion. What do you guys think of him?

He's cute and it sounds interesting. But if it's disney junior don't get your hopes up. I have no doubt it's going to ruin the lion king and be a huge disappointment. Like how Jake and the never land pirates ruined Peter Pan beyond repair. That's my opinion and I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah I'm thinking that will happen too, I looked at that Peter Pan episode yesterday, his face scared me into not watching it at all XD
