[Asa Willow]

Inspired by the absolutely beautiful song, The Seal Lullaby by Eric Whitacre.
Look it up, it's worth listening to.

I actually played this song yesterday for an honors band I was accepted into; by the first three notes I was nearly in tears.

The song was originally written for a movie called the Seal Lullaby, which Disney was in the process of making. However, they dumped the idea and picked up Kung Fu Panda instead, which I think was a huge mistake.





The painting was done with the watercolor tool, and it's a mother harp seal and her "flipperling".
