You turn to an other page and appear to find another photo, or what is left of a photo. This photo had seen some better days and with that you tuck it way near the back of the book between the pages and look over the wrinkled page, At less this one was till attached to the book, though where page two was, was beyond your knowledge. Though with nor more thought on the missing note and the letter you fond where page two was meant to be you continue to read on.
Day Eight of my Travels
Today was a long walk throw that valley that would hopefully lead us to the right mountain. The Tea shop owned, though respectable had no rooms for us. I guess that is what you get for over sleeping on the train and missing your stop. Though anyway the walk will be more then good for us and I prefer walking any how. On the way we came across a man pulling hay in an old wooden wagon and though at this point Vannie and me where getting tired, and she was complaining about her paws killing her we hopped a ride from him for some of out food that we had to spare, we would resupply at the correct tea shop when we get there.
The snow in the valley had just melted away and with that what ever grass was still there, but nearly dead pushed onward in regrowing. I told Vannie that Nepal was much more beautiful in the summer when there was less snow, though she didn't seem to believe a word I said nor any other thing I tried to convince her was beautiful in Nepal. She mostly came along for the adventure and I was all right by that! She didn't slow me down nor complained to much and that was all fine as long as she didn't cut the trip short for some strange reason. I even broke the tip of my tail at on point and though I attempted to make a slant for it and carried on with a previous trip, it didn't heal crooked or anything and it looks perfectly normal now.
Anyway back to what I was saying, I was going on about we had took the hay wagon as far as we could till the farmer was changing his path more east then we cared to go and parted him and his wagon at that point and continued on foot. I could say it took us about thirteen hours total to finally get to the right tea shop and we had to settled with a small room and so we had to become very close, hehe that was puny, so we spent the night their and geared up, I was getting things like rope and jackets for us, well more for her, my fur was made for the cold and she was more of a tropical gal. So Vannie got food for use and we got all our stuff together and headed out. By the time we where done we both where carrying about fifty pounds each with the proper wear for the mountain. The Climb would take more then a day or so to get anywhere near the top and I knew the bags would get lighter as we got higher. We both agreed though we where not got so high we needed air tanks to survive in the thinning atmosphere.
The entire seemed to end there on an abrupt though and never seem to continue. Though you had a feeling that where was more but it was lost somewhere on the way. you look back over the page to see if you missed something before flipping the page over to revile a blank page on the back side.
