Story:
Since he was little, Snatchback's proud, lively spirit would on occasion flow from his back as if they were wings. But lately The glow from them was sometimes the only source of light the others could look to. Their was once a time this forest was alive with the joyful chatter and frolicking of ferrets. Now the cold ominous wind was the only sound that brushed their ears, bringing with it the foggy scent of foxes, coyotes and traps.
He watched those he held close cower like rats, scuttling along the damp ground snatching any scraps they could find to eat for the day, if they were lucky to survive it. He hated it. He wanted to leave this forsaken forest. Yet whenever he reached the edge of the tree line he felt a force pulling him back. The cold, wet ominous wind. The grabbing, tugging grey grass. And the curiousity, longing, and terror of the beady eyes watching him. Begging him not to leave.
But he could not be a rat! They were ferrets. Proud, smart, strong, playful creatures that should never be underestimated! This dark, gloomy terror filled forest was no longer a home. It was a trap slowly engulfing and suffocating him. But he refused to break. He would leave one day and be free of this place.

This took me a long while! I had to use a notebook touch pad to draw, but I worked really hard! I'm quite happy with it :3
