Family of the great King Ahadi.
Ahadi's father was king of another pride not far from the Pride Lands. Their pride was large and prosperous, and King Kuoka and Queen Mkali were blessed firstly with two sons, Ahadi (on the right resting on his mother), the eldest and Sultani (lower left corner), the second born. Once their sons had reached their teens, two princesses were born- Kama (nuzzling her mother) and Ndizi (resting in the lower right corner).
As cubs, Ahadi and Sultani were very close, but with each growing day, Sultani loathed his brother more and more. His mane was growing in slow and sparse, and he was jealous of his brothers daily lessons with their father. He wanted to be king. Seeing his brothers changing behavior, Ahadi not only feared for himself, but also for his family, and thus left once he deemed himself old enough- he did not want his brother unhappy, and if giving up his throne would make Sultani happy, so be it. He wandered many a moons before finding the Pride Lands, ruled at the time by King Mohatu. As most may know, Ahadi became king after all when he wedded Uru, and had two sons of his own, Mufasa and Taka. He saw, however, the growing hatred of Taka toward his brother, and although he tried to be fair to his sons, he did not intervene and left the decision up to Mufasa.
Back in his old home, Sultani ruled with an iron claw. He allowed no other males to join his pride, and thus his sisters had no cubs. His growing tyranny scared his sisters and they fled to the Pride Lands. At this time, Ahadi, Ndizi and Kama were very old- Mufasa was nearly ready to take the throne himself. Both Ndizi and Kama found mates of their own, Spaki and Chini respectfully, and had their own cubs just as Mufasa's son, Simba was born- Ndizi and Spaki had a daughter, Kula, and Chini and Kama a son, Chumvi.
