A diamond dog is a canine like creature for the show My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic by Hasbro. They hoard diamonds, which is what gives them their name. These canines live in tunnels underground and can surface from multiple holes that lead to their home. Or at least, I believe these are the diamond dogs they are referring to.

Sorry, just felt like I should explain despite not being the one that brought them up xD
