His name is altus, which sort of means leather in Latin.
He always wears a mask and hates to take it off for some reason - It relates to his backstory, when people would laugh at the fact that he has one eye. His other eye was torn out in a fight and one ear is torn because of that.

Lol whut. Altus has one eye and half of an ear, while Kaya has one eye (She was born without the other) and a notched ear. Weird...
