- Yay, I made a new species.
Here's what I've got so far:
- They're descended from European pine martens, and some look very similar to them.
- They can range in size; some are the size of weasels, others the size of otters, but most are about the size of a domestic cat.
- Most live in large groups called Hoards, which can contain up to 100 individuals. Others live in smaller Packs of up to 10, usually made up of unrelated individuals. Rarely one will be banished from a Hoard/Pack, and live on its own.
- Packs and solitary individuals prey on small mammals, reptiles, insects and fruits. Hoards hunt in teams, descending from the tree tops to surprise and kill larger prey such as red deer.
- They can have short or long fur, and a couple of other mutations such as horns and tufts of fur on their heads.
- They are usually mischevious, intelligent and playful.
I can't think up a name for them yet... name suggestions would be awesome. c:
