I knew the whole "Hamlet" thing with the first movie but I never made the connection into Romeo and Juliet with the second.. How did I miss that?! I love your idea of the next being based on the Taming of the Shrew and honestly thing Disney needs to get on the ball and give us more of the classic movies and way more of the Lion King based on Shakespeare's work! <3

All that aside it is an amazing piece, congrats on the feature ^^ Totally deserves it.

Alright Alright, I get the picture, but if it is a G rated movie then how come they Killed Mufassa, Zira and Scar? And it's called TLK3 where I am so it doesn't really matter. And originally they were all one family but when Mufassa died and Simba ran away, Scar took over and most of the lions went against everything Mufassa taught them making them traitors to Simba when he returned so Simba banished them to the outlands making them enemies.. But I still don't understand why they based them on Shakespear's work. They could have based it on anything else and they chose Shakespear, and if they weren't going to kill everyone then why choose Romeo and Juliet, They could have choose Macbeth or something like that.

"why Shakespear"? Well... why not? Shakespeare was almost the birth of the English language. You probably say at least five things a day that Shakespeare originally wrote. "Vanish into thin air", "Full circle", "Love is blind", "A piece of work". Shakespeare; all of it. And why not get children educated in Shakespeare early? And it's G rated because there's no gore and only "cartoon violence". That's just how Disney is. And lastly... have you read Macbeth? A guy plots with his wife to kill the king, they then get his two guardsmen drunk, kill the king, and blame it on the guardsmen (who are also sadly murdered by Macbeth). Not only do the kings sons flee the country in fear of their lives, Macbeth hires guys to kill his best friend and his son because he's afraid a prophecy made by witches will come true and they'll take the throne. And, after ANOTHER prophecy, Macbeth orders the murder of his other friends wife and children... Overall, Lady McB ends up commiting suicide because of the guilt, "Out damned spot", and Macbeth is beheaded :I While that would be interesting, it's definitely a more violent choice...
