Wait, How can The Lion King Two: Simba's Pride be based on Romeo and Juliet, It's a six day relationship and everyone dies in the end when in TLK2 lasts 4 days and the only two people that die is Nuka and Zira and we don't even know if Zira does die because she could be still alive, she just might be on a beach or something (Although I very much doubt it). Also there has already been a lion king three, They retell the first story from Pumbaa and Timon's point of view.
So this would be TLK4.

Now that is out the way I just want to say this looks really good. I wish I could draw like that.

It's Disney XD Days doesn't matter and they can't kill everyone off in a G rated movie. It's just the basic principle, 2 people fall in love who are from long rivaling families and their love is not approved thus ending in severe consequences. Also for the TLK 3 thing, it depends where you live really, some places it's 1.5 and some it's 3: Hakuna Matata.

... Pretty much what Lark said o: The overall point of Romeo and Juliet was to unite the two feuding families... Father Lawrence, unfortunately, put his hope in two teens and as we all know, that didn't work too well. AND, it's TLK 1 1/2 for me. Personally, that makes more sense. It's a new story, BUT it's also background for the original one as well.

Alright Alright, I get the picture, but if it is a G rated movie then how come they Killed Mufassa, Zira and Scar? And it's called TLK3 where I am so it doesn't really matter. And originally they were all one family but when Mufassa died and Simba ran away, Scar took over and most of the lions went against everything Mufassa taught them making them traitors to Simba when he returned so Simba banished them to the outlands making them enemies.. But I still don't understand why they based them on Shakespear's work. They could have based it on anything else and they chose Shakespear, and if they weren't going to kill everyone then why choose Romeo and Juliet, They could have choose Macbeth or something like that.
