I agree with Okami.
Play bite are meh, okay. But hard bite, no no.
You need to defend yourself. You need to show them who's boss.
Or else you'll be bitten all the time.
That's even how professionals train some dogs when they bite them.
Flick on the nose, and a mean 'no' if soft.
Pin on the ground, and a mean 'no, bad dog' if real hard.
I even have to do that sometimes. Good grief, I'm a dog trainer.
Almost everyone who has a dog gets bit. Play bite or not.
Most of the ones who don't, their dog doesn't have any teeth.
It's not mean, you were just defending yourself, and saying who's boss; which is good.
You did the right thing, yes. You can't let them think they're in charge.
