(Okay, so my new series is called Descendant. Read #4 to find out why. Thanks all of you who entered in my contest thing. Any suggestions to make better? This is Ashia's last part of the story. You will no longer hear her side of it. It will make the story longer for Ash. So this whole thing is Ashia.)
..Ashia bounded up to her father. He stepped back and blinked. Ashia felt her heart race. Ash was a descendant of some of the greatest wolves that ever lived. The BlueCrescent wolves were after the Dire wolves, and they had been bred with a gift and a curse. The gift was to be able to talk to any animal on earth. The curse was that they had only one soulmate, and if their soulmate died, then they could never breed again. But that was all Ashia knew from her elders. For all she had known, the BlueCrescent wolves had been wiped off centuries ago. She looked over at Ash, feeling fear and wonder. Ash gulped and shot up, half limping, half running away from the pack. She called his name and ran after him, her fear gone. He was an Omega, and he wouldn't hurt her. Her father bounded next to her, their pawsteps hitting the ground in unision. They reached the pack meadow and saw Ash sitting alone at the top of a small hill. Ashia padded over to him quietly and sat next to him. He looked up and her and she smiled faintly. Her father reached them and sighed. "Ashia, I need to talk to you." Ashia blinked but nodded and followed him a bit away from Ash. Her father's graying face was serious, and he looked her in the eyes. "He may be the only one left. But I've head rumor that there is a small pack that has survived the death of the BlueCrescents. It is far away but not impossible to get to." Ashia took a deep breath and nodded. "And you want Ash to go there." Her father smiled and nodded. Right. I would also-" Suddenly, they heard laughter coming from the hill. They looked over and Ash was playing with one of the pups, acting goofy. Ashia grinned and her father chuckled. He turned back to her and finished. "I would also like you to go. He needs a strong wolf to take care of him." Ashia smiled softly and nodded. "Of course father. Where is this place?" Her father looked down and cleared his throat. "It's in the middle of Dead Lake." Ashia perked her ears and frowned. Dead Lake was not a safe lake. It was not very deep, but it was very long and cold. Many wolves had died there. And the worst part was.....humans fished there.
